Brief Biography
Professor Ian Hunter was educated at Scarborough School of Art and Leicester College of Art and Design, and then worked at Art Schools and Universities in Luton, Guildford, Farnham, Wisconsin, Falmouth, Cheltenham (Head of Fine Art), Central Saint Martins (Dean of Art) and Winchester (Head of Fine Art).
Since leaving Higher Education, he has devoted himself exclusively to his own drawing and painting, and since 1999 has lived and worked in Spain.
He has exhibited widely in the UK, including The Royal Academy, the Barbican and the Hayward Gallery, and has work in a number of public and private collections.
He is a member of Asociacion Espanola de Pintores y Escultores (AEPE), and Andalucian International Artists (AIA). Please click on AIA at the bottom of this site, to access their website.
